A postdoctoral position (Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D.) is available in the laboratory of Dr. Erica Schmitt in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Rheumatology/Immunology at WashU. The Schmitt Lab studies immune dysregulation in inborn errors of immunity. We are specifically interested in investigating the mechanisms leading to T and B cell dysregulation. In complementary studies, we are investigating antigen-specific responses and mucosal tolerance using multiple different in vivo and in vitro models and human samples. Candidates with backgrounds in immunology and bioinformatic skills are strongly encouraged to apply.
