About The Position

The Postdoctoral Research Associate position is responsible for the development of hyperpolarized NMR and spectroscopy to characterize electronic structure. This position will design and implement experimental methods and technology that integrate parahydrogen induced polarization to achieve these goals.

Requirements

  • Appropriate PhD.
  • PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • In-depth research experience in biochemistry, bioorganic or medicinal chemistry.
  • Experience in advanced NMR methodology.
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
  • Contribution to team effort by working effectively with individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute research experiments while leading the development of the overall project.
  • Provide leadership within the research group and coordinate collaborative team efforts.
  • Mentor and support graduate and undergraduate students in their research activities.
  • Prepare and disseminate research findings through manuscripts, reports, presentations, and grant proposals.
  • Present project results at group meetings and other relevant scientific forums.
  • Participate in scientific seminars, conferences, and professional development opportunities.
  • Stay current with advancements and literature in the research field.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and standards.
