About The Position

Details of Research Project: Dr. Hao Xiang will perform the following research projects under the mentoring of Dr. Tianliang Sun: Mechanism of boosting of liver regeneration to reverse MASH. Combining multiomics data profiling, mouse genetics, histology, intravital imaging and organoid systems, we will systemically analyze the mechanism of inflammation resolution, lipid metabolism and fibrosis regression events upon the deletion of ZNRF3 and RNF43. The plasticity of biliary epithelial cells during ductular reaction. We aim to dissect the cell heterogeneity of biliary epithelial cells during liver injuries and the key signaling pathways that involved in regeneration and pathogenesis via various mouse genetic and injury models and organoid cultures. Principles of liver zonation regulation and how zonation play a role in liver diseases
