About The Position

The postdoctoral fellow’s work will focus on the development of a mucosal COVID-19 vaccine based on the live NDV vector to better curb viral infection and transmission than parenteral vaccine approaches. You will characterize immune responses upon intranasal vaccine administration as well as broadening both mucosal and systemic immunity in naïve or pre-immune hosts. You will lead the multivalent intranasal COVID-19 vaccine project as well as the pre-existing immunity in the mouse model project in the Sun lab. Furthermore, you will train and educate new lab members and present his research at international conferences.
