Join the forefront of groundbreaking research at the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope, where we're changing lives and making a real difference in the fight against cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses. Our dedicated and compassionate faculty and staff are driven by a common mission: Contribute to innovative approaches in predicting, preventing, and curing diseases, shaping the future of medicine through cutting-edge research. The Sun Lab is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research team studying transcription factor–regulated T cell function and its implications in autoimmune and infectious diseases. Our research is supported by NIH and industry grants and aims to translate basic T cell biology into therapeutic insights for immune-mediated disorders. Recent postdoctoral fellows from our lab have successfully transitioned to positions in academia and the pharmaceutical industry, both in the U.S. and internationally. Our work focuses on transcriptional and gene-regulatory control of T cell function, with publications in leading journals such as Relevant publications include works in Nature Immunology (PMID: 28846085), Nature Communications (PMID: 30451821), Science Advances (DOI: 10.1126/sciadv.ado4274), and Cell Reports (DOI: DOI: 10.1016/j.celrep.2024.114951).
