About The Position

BioMedical Research (BR) is the innovation engine of Novartis, focusing on powerful new technologies to produce therapeutic breakthroughs. The BR Postbaccalaureate program offers an opportunity to conduct an independent research project under the mentorship of a Novartis research scientist.

Requirements

Have graduated from a US academic institution within 1 year of application
Have a GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale
Have a strong desire to pursue a graduate-level degree
Are authorized to work in the US for any employer

Responsibilities

Attend on-boarding and training sessions
Plan, design and execute an independent research project as agreed upon by your Novartis scientist mentor(s)
Attend Postbaccalaureate Intern professional development sessions
Attend graduate school classes and/or seminars determined necessary to position you for a top tier graduate/professional training program
Present your research project at a program poster session or conference
Adhere to all Novartis policies
