About The Position

State Print & Mail (SPM) is seeking a new Postal Logistics Manager to lead and manage up to six mail couriers. You would oversee the operational workflow of our mailroom to ensure efficiencies and adherence to State and United States Postal Service (USPS) standards. You would exercise independent judgment over statewide mail operations and perform work such as: Provide strong leadership and mentoring to staff Work with the Operations Manager and other division staff to document and continually improve processes and procedures, including business practices to increase program effectiveness and efficiency Serve as the point-of-contact between the state and USPS Ensure SPM is up to date on all USPS rules and regulations as well as mail industry trends and technologies Analytics using Microsoft Excel and various address management software programs Fleet management processes covering up to six vehicles Warehouse operations including shipping, receiving and inventory Notify agency liaisons of opportunities for improvement and suggest corrective actions, implementation methods and end-user educational courses and materials

Requirements

  • Confidently navigate USPS mail processing regulations and use mail equipment and address management software like BCC.
  • Apply data and analytics skills in Microsoft Excel and address management tools to guide daily decisions.
  • Manage fleet operations (up to six vehicles) and oversee warehouse logistics, including shipping, receiving, and inventory.
  • Lead with clarity, integrity, and respect, motivating your team through strong communication and clear expectations.
  • Stay organized and adaptable, managing multiple priorities and deadlines without losing focus.
  • Take initiative, drive positive change, and uphold a commitment to customer service and collaboration.

Responsibilities
