The experimental nuclear physics group in the Physics Department at the Ohio State University (OSU) invites applications for one open post doctoral scholar position to work with Professors Daniel Brandenburg and Mike Lisa. The relativistic heavy ion group has a position in the Solenoidal Tracker physics programs at RHIC (STAR) and the Large hadron collider beauty experiment (LHCb) physics program at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). This group is actively participating in the design and realization of various hardware projects in support of the LHCb and electron ion proton collider experiment (EPIC) collaborations. The Post Doctoral Scholar leads physics analyses critical to STAR/LHCb physics program and takes initiative in contributing to the design of the EPIC experiment.
