We are recruiting a postdoctoral scientist interested in pre-clinical and translational studies to help us study how membrane trafficking controls tumor-intrinsic mechanisms of immune evasion and tumor progression/metastasis. We use a variety of in vivo and in vitro models and perform discovery work with patient samples. Potential postdoctoral projects include: -Studying mechanisms by which vesicular trafficking machinery enable tumor cells to recruit suppressive immune cells to the tumor microenvironment. -Investigating how ARF6-mediated recycling of surface proteins impacts tumor immune evasion. -Investigating ARF6-dependent lipid, protein and nucleic acid cargo in tumor-derived extracellular vesicles and how this cargo alters the tumor immune microenvironment. We value team work and a healthy work-life balance in beautiful Utah.
