About The Position

As a Post Closing Supervisor you'll ensure that all required post closing tasks are completed in a timely and compliant manner. You'll review loan files, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, preparing documentation for final processing and resolving any issues that arise after loan closing. Ensure all required post closing tasks are completed in a timely and compliant manner. Confirm all files have Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems (MERS), collateral shipped, PCCD's and trailing documents received and when applicable FHA insured, VA Guaranteed, UCD's, funding fee and MIP paid. Fulfill audit and third party due diligence obligations, working with internal departments to facilitate resolution on outstanding items. Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., RESPA, TRID, HMDA) in post-closing activities. Lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience in Mortgage Operations or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including; sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate experience with Encompass.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
