JOB PURPOSE: Serve as a senior member of the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) Costing and Reporting team by providing leadership in sponsored project reporting, compliance, and financial analysis. Act as a functional lead for post-award systems, development of the Facilities and Administration (F&A) rate proposal, and redistribution of F&A recovery. The position is responsible for producing accurate sponsored programs reports, assisting with preparation of sponsor and institutional surveys, developing campus training, and recommending process improvements. The Specialist II applies advanced knowledge of federal, state, and institutional regulations to safeguard compliance and ensure accurate representation of UW’s research enterprise.
