As a Portfolio Owner Manager Senior within PNC's Retail Lending organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, PA; Wilmington, DE; Washington, DC; Tysons Corner, VA; Chicago, IL; or New York, NY. We are seeking a seasoned leader to manage a team of Portfolio Owners and deliver a series of initiatives from ideation through discovery, development and delivery PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. Represents the business and sets the strategic vision for highly complex portfolios. Makes trade-offs across teams, e.g., funding and resource allocation; ensures alignment where needed. Approver of teams' prioritization and major deliverables. Is the main interface with Senior leadership and other portfolios/executives, especially when there are decisions (i.e. reprioritization) to be made across portfolios. Engages with other Portfolios/ executives when information/ scope of the teams not enough to make decisions Is an extension of the Product Owner; makes decisions including removal of impediments based on information provided by Scrum teams/POs and other stakeholders. Ensures solid product vision together with all Product Owners and provides guidance on backlog prioritization based on business value. Pressure tests iteration plans and scope. Reviews iteration WIP, demos and provides feedback as necessary. Determines if iteration outcome is acceptable from functional/non-functional aspects Reviews final deliverables, approves and coordinates acceptance among SMEs. Requirements

  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
  • Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
  • At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
  • Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with key business, product and tech stakeholders across the Enterprise to manage dependencies, identify opportunities, competing priorities
  • Partners with Product and Business leaders to create, manage and prioritize product strategy, OKRs, backlog and roadmap
  • Oversee Program Analysis and Reporting; Leverages insights to inform improvement opportunities
  • Oversees continual agile and operational transformation and, partnering with product to adopt industry best practices
  • Supports key internal processes, including Change at PNC, project funding and staffing, budgeting, etc.; Manages budget tracking and burndown for Servicing Product Team
  • Drives annual planning process for team
  • Develop tracking, Identify and implement efficiency strategies across the product and tech organization
  • Supports Head of Servicing Product to develop and deliver Senior Leadership updates
  • Familiarity with product development tools like Adobe, Tableau, FigJam, JIRA, Confluence, Figma
