About The Position

The Portfolio Servicing Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the management, maintenance, and performance of the bank's portfolio. The Portfolio Servicing Manager collaborates closely with various departments and drives a customer-centric approach, resolving escalated concerns promptly, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction. This position plays a crucial part in being the intermediary between the customer, loan officer, analyst, and credit department in ensuring that the integrity of the portfolio is maintained.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in portfolio management within a banking or financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to use a high degree of critical thinking skills in managing a large portfolio of diverse and complex commercial relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Facilitate communication with loan officers, loan applicants, appraisers, environmental companies, title companies, attorney’s, surveyors, and internal staff.
  • Process loan modifications, attorney doc prep, update Meridian, record with the county clerk, scan modification documents, update credit tracking, etc.
  • Collaborate with loan officers in managing loan pipelines by requesting/gathering information and working with exceptions.
  • Address escalated customer concerns or issues related to portfolio servicing promptly and effectively.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention within the portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all portfolio servicing activities.
  • Implement and maintain robust risk management practices to minimize portfolio risks.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve portfolio servicing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
