GENERAL PURPOSE: Works with the director to develop and implement consistent agency intergovernmental partnering strategy including developing procedures, tools/templates, dashboards, metrics and other tracking systems. Leads long-term evolution of agreement portfolio approach and reporting, focusing on local agencies such as cities, but applicable to other portfolios such as WSDOT, utilities and transit/rail partners. Provides oversight; guidance, including tools and templates; and alignment to agency policies and priorities for Sound Transit agreements to ensure consistency in strategy, risk acceptance, prioritization of interests, negotiations, and relationship protection in agreements with key government partners. Provides centralized coordination and communication between Sound Transit and assigned program area/portfolio internally and between Sound Transit and external public agencies.
