The Portfolio Management team oversees registered investment funds that are managed by iCapital in collaboration with leading alternative asset management firms such as KKR, Warburg Pincus, Vista, Audax, Bain, and Charlesbank. This role will support the team's investment process, portfolio monitoring, fundraising, and operations and will be responsible for several projects over the duration of the summer.
Requirements
- A rising junior or senior in a U.S. college/university bachelor's degree program
- Must be available to work the duration of the program from June 7th through August 8th to be eligible
- Committed to working five days a week in the New York City office for the entire duration of the internship
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Highly inquisitive, collaborative, and a creative problem solver
- Possess foundational knowledge of and/or genuine interest in the financial markets
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Able to adapt to new responsibilities and manage competing priorities
- Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- We are unable to offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of private equity and private debt asset classes.
- Help prepare the investment committee memoranda summarizing due diligence of potential opportunities.
- Complete analysis of private markets investment partners and other competing registered investment funds.
- Help maintain portfolio monitoring data and materials.
- Support fundraising operations, investor requests, new investor subscriptions, and tracking of capital formation.
