About The Position

The Pool Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and safety of swimming pool facilities to ensure a secure and enjoyable environment for all patrons. This role involves managing pool monitors, coordinating maintenance activities, and enforcing pool rules and regulations. The Pool Supervisor will also handle scheduling, training, and performance evaluations of the pool team to maintain high service quality. Additionally, the position requires monitoring water quality and facility cleanliness to meet regulatory requirements and promote public health. Ultimately, the Pool Supervisor plays a critical role in delivering a safe, well-maintained, and customer-focused aquatic experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of pool safety regulations.
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Current certification in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid, preferred.
  • Certification as a Pool Operator (CPO) or equivalent.
  • Experience with staff training and development.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of pool monitors to ensure effective coverage and safety.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce pool rules to prevent accidents and respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Manage pool maintenance schedules, including water quality testing, chemical balancing, and equipment upkeep.
  • Maintain accurate records related to pool operations, incidents, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or programs at the pool facility.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally to enhance patron satisfaction.
