About The Position

The Pool Supervisor supports the Food and Beverage Department by overseeing daily Poolside Grille dining operations to ensure exceptional member service and a safe, well-maintained environment. This position directly supervises and trains Pool Servers and Pool Bartenders, coordinates food and beverage service between the kitchen and Pool service team, and ensures efficient, high-quality service delivery. Working under general direction, this role exercises sound judgment, initiative, and leadership to ensure smooth operations and a positive member experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry and general knowledge of liquors, wine, and food & beverage services and functions.
  • Skill and proficiency in use of point-of-sale systems.
  • Skill in the use of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and mechanics.
  • Intermediate skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of computer systems; ability to perform data entry using industry-specific databases.
  • Attention to detail in provision of services and customer services.
  • Ability to follow written and oral directions.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and to work independently.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain personal hygiene.

  • Must possess valid driver’s license in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana; must be insurable under the company’s auto insurance policy.
  • Must be able to work variable schedule or irregular hours to include last-minute scheduling needs/changes and working split shifts based on needs of the Club operations and scheduled events.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekday, weekend, and evening/late evening hours as required.
  • Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions as needed and to walk on uneven ground.
  • Ability to perform same-day travel on Stock Farm Property and within local geographic region.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises and leads Pool Servers and Pool Bartenders in delivering exceptional Poolside Grille food and beverage service to members and guests.
  • Serves as the primary on-site point of contact for member and guest inquiries related to food, beverage, wine, and service standards.
  • Proactively resolves member and guest concerns, coordinating with the Director of Food and Beverage, Executive Chef, and other management team members as appropriate to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Conducts routine inspections of the pool and outdoor Fitness Centre areas at the beginning, during, and end of each shift to ensure cleanliness, safety, proper setup, and adherence to Club standards.
  • Ensures completion of all opening, side work, and closing duties by Poolside Grille service staff prior to shift conclusion.
  • Develops and manages staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for daily pool operations and pool-related Food and Beverage events; coordinates scheduling needs with the Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef as necessary.
  • Actively supports service operations by assisting with food and beverage delivery, table maintenance, and guest engagement during peak service periods.
  • Monitors service flow, staff performance, and overall member satisfaction; provides real-time coaching and operational support during high-volume periods.
  • Oversees inventory control for Poolside Grille Food and Beverage operations, including monitoring stock levels, submitting supply requests, managing pull sheets, and ensuring proper product rotation and cost control in alignment with Club standards.
  • Ensures accurate entry of food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system and compliance with Club accounting and checkout procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge of member preferences and communicates relevant information to pool service staff to enhance personalized service delivery.
  • Supports execution of private events held at the pool lawn or surrounding areas, ensuring proper staffing, setup, and service standards.
  • Partners with the Member Services department to coordinate Pool Attendant coverage and activities to ensure seamless and elevated member experience.
  • Assists the Food and Beverage Manager with payroll-related functions, including timesheet review, verification of hours worked, tip pool oversight, and timely submission in accordance with Club policies.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the overall success of the Food and Beverage Department.
