Pool Food Runner
About The Position
Join Our Team! The Westlake Village Inn & Spa is currently hiring a Pool Food Runner! General Responsibilities: • Transport food and beverage orders from the kitchen or bar to guests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner • Double check all orders before delivery to ensure accuracy, presentation, and that all items are complete • Provide excellent customer service by anticipating guests’ needs, answering questions about menu items, and addressing any concerns promptly • Ensure the pool area remains clean and organized by clearing empty dishes, drinkware, trash, and debris • Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and bartenders to ensure the smooth flow of service and maintain high standards of quality • Assist in maintaining the poolside area, including replenishing towels, adjusting umbrellas, and rearranging pool furniture to ensure guest comfort • Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper food handling and ensuring the pool area is safe for guests and staff • Strive to exceed guest expectations by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-paced environment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, sun, rain, and cold
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Must have flexibility availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
