About The Position

WHAT YOU’LL DO The primary responsibility of the Pool Food Runner is to ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering food correctly to our pool guest. All duties are to be performed in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. ROLE EXPECTATIONS Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately. Uphold sanitation and food safety principles. Bus tables and chairs by removing dirty dishes and trash. Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory. Relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food. Assist in setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins, and decorations. Handle various impromptu requests from customers. Continuously seek service opportunities. Respond to and resolve guest complaints. Answer guest questions and possess knowledge about property events and attractions. Work closely with bar staff, servers and kitchen staff to coordinate the delivery of food and beverage orders to the appropriate location. Provide friendly and professional service to guests, assisting with any additional requests or inquiries they may have. Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation. Provide personalized service and use guests' names. Resolve service problems according to guidelines. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies. Fulfill any other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
One-year previous high-volume food and beverage experience
Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
Must present a professional and pleasant appearance that guests will find appealing and approachable in order to engage in conversation.
Must be able to work any day of the week and scheduled shift.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Work requires knowledge of tray service and cocktail ingredients.
Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
Must regularly lift and/move up 30 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one-year customer service experience in a previous position, where the primary job duty is direct customer service.
