About The Position

Performs routine customer service and operational tasks at the Cordell Municipal Pool, including processing sales, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in the Admission Area if needed. Work is performed under general supervision of pool manager and the Assistant Superintendent. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Requirements

• Basic knowledge of food service operations, computer usage, and sales transactions
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Ability to handle and store inventory properly
• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with the public, including individuals who may display challenging or difficult behavior
• Ability to follow safety and health regulations
• Skill in operating computers and food service equipment (training provided as needed)
• Valid work permit if required

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in customer service, food service, or retail preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for concession sales.
• Process transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Keeps facility and surrounding areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follows food safety and health department regulations when handling food service operations.
• Accurately handles cash transactions and makes correct change.
• Completes inventory of food and products.
• Assists with clean-up of equipment as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
