About The Position

The Pool & Beach Dining Ambassador, also known as a Guest Service Expert, is tasked with creating a memorable and unique dining experience for guests, extending beyond just serving food and drinks. This involves providing a wide array of services to ensure guest satisfaction. Key aspects of the role include maintaining a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance and communication style. The position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, navigate various surfaces, manage menus, and perform tasks involving lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects. The role is crucial for delivering exceptional service and contributing to the business's success, guided by The Ritz-Carlton's "Gold Standards."

Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended time.
  • Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
  • Ability to read and visually verify information (managing the menu).
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
  • No specific license or certification.
