About The Position

We’re looking for a reliable Pool Attendant to join our team! You’ll maintain a clean and safe pool area, ensure all safety equipment is in place, and help create a welcoming environment for residents. This role supports the community while reflecting the company’s goals and core values.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No prior experience or training.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation to work.
• Must maintain an active and working personal mobile phone.
• Computer skills required: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and internet
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to endure seasonal temperatures
• A growth mindset; always testing and learning.
• Willingness and ability to present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner always throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.

Responsibilities

• Tests and balances pool chemicals and documents as required by state and local regulations.
• Monitors and adjusts pool temperature.
• Cleans and vacuums pool, cleans skimmer baskets, backwashes pool filters, and skims the pool with skimmer.
• Sweeps the pool deck and all surrounding areas daily.
• Straightens pool furniture, ensuring that furniture is clean and in working order at all times.
• Monitors residents entering and exiting the pool area.
• Ensures the state capacity is not exceeded.
• Ensures all posted pool rules are being adhered to.
• Cleans and maintains pool bathroom daily, including keeping them stocked with supplies and free of standing water.
• Cleans the clubhouse and surrounding common areas as needed.
• Ensures safety equipment is present and in working order.
• Checks first aid kit for needed supplies on a daily basis.
• Gardens and removes weeds in commons areas.
• Provides support for community groundskeeping and other general maintenance tasks.
• Position may require flexible hours, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Position requires working evenings and weekends, and other non-business hours as customer traffic dictates.
• Position may require temporary or permanent reassignment of work location as directed by Senior Leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
