About The Position

Monitors the Quinnipiac University Podcast studio in the CCE building and/or the Dome Works with podcasters to maintain the room’s cleanliness and orderliness Assists podcasters with engineering podcasts (live-mixing sound, camera switching, setting up mics, setting up Adobe Audition). Ensures podcasters comply with studio rules Other related duties as needed

Requirements

• Knowledgeable of audio and video recording processes and software
• Working knowledge of Hyperdeck Blackmagic switchers, general camera operation
• Understanding of podcasting and podcast culture
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to think and act independently
