About The Position

Sharpe Engineering & Equipment is seeking an experienced PMO Manager to build, lead, and optimize the systems, tools, and processes that support our project management function across engineering, fabrication & installation, controls, procurement, and accounting. This strategic, process-focused leader will define Sharpe’s project governance model, standardize workflows, and strengthen cross-functional alignment to ensure consistent, predictable, high-quality project delivery. This role will collaborate directly with the Director of Engineering and key department leaders to elevate project performance, enhance visibility, and reinforce a people-centric culture aligned with Sharpe’s Core Values: Integrity, Collaboration, Responsibility, Commitment to Stakeholders, and People-Centric Focus.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in direct project management within F&B engineering, F&B equipment manufacturing, F&B processing, or F&B capital project management.
  • Hold a formal project management certification such as PMP.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycles, documentation control, scheduling, and workflow management.
  • Proficiency in Monday.com, MS Project, and ERP systems(Acumatica a plus).
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to influence without authority and drive clarity across teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Confident facilitator able to guide discussions, support decision-making, and ensure follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Sharpe’s standardized project lifecycle, including stage gates, templates, documentation requirements, and workflow standards.
  • Build and refine PM tools such as kickoff packages, risk registers, RACIs, commissioning checklists, communication plans, and change logs.
  • Ensure documentation control and revision management for drawings, submittals, approvals, and closeout materials.
  • Lead coordination and facilitation of stage-gate reviews from concept through startup.
  • Improve processes for scheduling, budgeting, reporting, communication, and capacity planning.
  • Support adoption and correct usage of Monday.com and Acumatica, enhancing project visibility and reporting accuracy.
  • Provide Project Managers with standardized dashboards, performance metrics, and project health indicators.
  • Maintain a master project schedule and help forecast resource and capacity needs for PMs and PM Assistants.
  • Track organizational risks, issues, scope changes, and lessons learned, ensuring accountability and consistency across projects.
  • Facilitate cross-department collaboration with Engineering, Controls, Fabrication & Installation, Procurement, and Accounting.
