The PMO Lead is a key member of the Operations leadership team, driving a thoughtful, collaborative, and people-centered approach to project management across our manufacturing network. This role leads high-priority, cross-functional programs—including capital projects, plant startups and shutdowns, technology deployments, process transformations, and other complex operational initiatives—by creating an environment where teams feel supported, aligned, and empowered to deliver meaningful results. You bring strong project governance expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to build trusting relationships across sites and functions. You are someone who combines technical and operational understanding with an empathetic leadership style that helps teams navigate risk, scope, cost, and schedule in dynamic environments. This is a highly visible role that supports enterprise-wide operational priorities and ensures work is delivered with clarity, consistency, and measurable impact.

  • Project Leadership & Governance Lead complex, cross-functional operational projects, including: -Plant startups, shutdowns, and consolidations -Major CAPEX/OPEX programs -Process redesign and technology deployments -Supply chain, quality, and safety transformation initiatives
  • Develop and maintain project charters, governance rhythms, RAID logs, budgets, communication plans, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Build and manage enterprise project dashboards and KPI reporting to ensure transparency and shared accountability.
  • Apply structured project controls to meet scope, timing, cost, and performance goals.
  • Operational Strategy & Execution Excellence Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, HR, and senior leadership to align on project goals and resource needs.
  • Coordinate commissioning, qualification, and ramp-up activities for new assets or facilities with clear communication and team alignment.
  • Use Lean, DMAIC, or structured problem-solving methodologies to anticipate challenges and maintain operational continuity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence Serve as the connective partner across business units, functions, and plants—strengthening information flow, alignment, and follow-through.
  • Influence through relationship-building, clarity, data, and supportive communication.
  • Facilitate project workshops, kickoffs, stage-gate reviews, and cross-functional meetings that encourage participation and shared ownership.
  • PMO Capability Building Develop accessible project management standards, templates, and best practices for teams across the organization.
  • Coach project owners, engineers, and managers in planning, sequencing, risk management, and critical-path thinking in an inclusive and supportive way.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to embed PMO discipline into the broader operating system.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Several years of experience leading complex projects in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Proven expertise in project management, including cross-functional leadership and risk-based decision-making
  • Ability to understand manufacturing processes, equipment, and operational flows
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and adapting in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and clarity at all levels
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)
