At Ameriserve, we’re seeking a skilled and motivated Service Personnel or Manager transfer to join our growing Management team. The ideal candidate is prompt and reliable, has superior support skills and excellent communication, Punctual & self-motivated. He/she will have a proven track record of client satisfaction and is motivated to provide superior service. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Preventative Maintenance Manager. The PM Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the PM department, ensuring efficient scheduling, customer satisfaction, New recruitment and team performance enhancement. This role involves managing technicians / teaching technicians for constant growth, coordinating work orders, handling customer concerns, and driving department growth through excellent service delivery & communications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5+ years in commercial kitchen equipment repair, HVAC, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of commercial kitchen equipment maintenance and repair
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of technicians
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in service management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record as outlined with our company policy
  • Must be able to pass a satisfactory background screening
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 to 75 pounds; frequently lift and or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and heavy lift equipment
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and climb up and down ladders
  • Extensive daily travel to work site locations

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or vocational training in appliance repair, HVAC, or a related field is preferred
  • CFESA certification or equivalent industry credentials

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the PM department, ensuing timely and effective service with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Schedule and dispatch PM technicians for repairs and maintenance calls.
  • Monitor and improve service response times and job completion rates
  • Maintain service records, invoices, and work orders using the company’s system
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Manage and support a team of PM technicians, providing training and mentorship
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment to allow the growth of each technician to their full potential.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with customers regarding Preventative Maintenance service issues and escalations of problems.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business as well as growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales team to support customer needs and promote service agreements.
  • Analyze service data and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Build partnerships with local vocational trade schools required to replenish the new entry PM entry techs. This requires attendance at job fairs and monthly visits to be available for in-class presentations.
  • MUST be comfortable with team collaboration in think tank situations, this program is to be the base foundation of the company. This position holds the core personnel to embellish these core attributes.
