About The Position

The PM Dishwasher/Prep Cook plays a key role in supporting the culinary team and ensuring smooth evening operations. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment while assisting with basic food preparation for dinner service, events, and next‑day production. As part of a private club, this role contributes directly to the member experience through consistency, reliability, and teamwork.

Requirements

Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred but not required
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

Operate dish machine and hand‑wash items as needed
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and cookware
Keep dish area organized, sanitized, and free of hazards
Manage trash, recycling, and compost removal
Sweep and mop kitchen floors during and after service
Assist with closing duties and end‑of‑night cleaning
Perform basic prep tasks including washing, peeling, chopping, portioning, and labeling
Follow recipes and direction from chefs for evening prep needs
Assist with banquet/event setup prep as assigned
Properly store ingredients and maintain FIFO standards
Support line cooks during service with restocking and light cooking tasks (as trained)
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Handle equipment safely and report maintenance needs
Uphold club standards for professionalism, teamwork, and reliability
