Family-owned and operated since 2003, we are a growing company made up of professionals who take pride in creating a supportive, team-oriented environment. We are currently hiring a Full-Time Prep Cook / Dishwasher with 3–5 years of kitchen, dining service, or hospitality experience to join our culinary team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen but is looking for long-term stability, career growth, and a workplace that values its employees. In this role, you'll work closely with our Sous Chef, help prepare meals for residents, and gain hands-on experience that can lead to advancement. Working from our Tucson Mountains community, you will help provide nutritious and enjoyable meals for our residents. As you grow in the role and demonstrate your skills, you will have opportunities to take on more responsibility and advance within our culinary team.

Requirements

21 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED
3–5 years of kitchen, dining service, or hospitality experience
Reliable transportation
Clean driving record
Ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can assist with the process)
Ability to obtain Arizona Memory Care Certification (within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities

Preparing food and beverages under the direction of the Sous Chef and Facility Director
Assisting with menu preparation and meal service
Preparing meals for residents, including special dietary needs
Performing food temperature checks according to county health standards
Logging temperatures and labeling food per health department requirements
Assisting with inventory management and restocking
Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas
Performing closing duties to shut down the kitchen
Washing dishes, glassware, silverware, and cookware
Assisting with general maintenance tasks around the community
Delivering meals to our Foothills location using a company food delivery van
