About The Position

The Plumbing Service Technician position includes the analysis, maintenance, and repair of plumbing equipment. Technicians must be able to provide replacement options to customers and may be required to install new equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Minimum of 2 years relevant field experience
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and push/pull up to 150 lbs. with the use of a dolly
Provide basic hand tools necessary to perform job duties
Experience working with PVC, copper, PEX and more
Available for late night and/or weekend jobs as needed
Willingness to learn, attend classes for professional advancement

Nice To Haves

Boiler experience a plus

Responsibilities

Repair, replace, and install plumbing fixtures, systems, faucets, toilets, water heaters, water lines, gas lines, sinks, showers, tubs, sump pumps, expansion tanks, recirculating pumps, garbage disposals, and more.
Rod main-lines and branch-lines including camera inspection
Perform hydro-jetting of sewer lines
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in plumbing systems/plumbing components and recommend solutions to customer
Propose equipment repair and replacement options in a professional manner
Communicate professionally both verbally and written with customers and coworkers
Transport equipment and materials to jobsite, as needed
Test completed work and collect payment from customers
Requisition parts/materials used on jobs; re-stock inventory on service vehicle
Work with various tools, machinery and supplies efficiently
Listening and communication skills are imperative to perform these tasks effectively
