Plumbing Service Manager Location: Knoxville, TN We are looking for an experienced Plumbing Service Manager with a strong background in commercial plumbing service and customer relationship management. This role is responsible for growing service revenue, supporting technicians, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your role You will manage and grow plumbing service and maintenance business through repair, replacement, preventive maintenance agreements, and small service projects. This position works closely with customers, technicians, dispatch, and service leadership to ensure work is scoped accurately and executed professionally.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in plumbing service sales, service management, or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and service operations
  • Proven customer-facing and relationship management experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with technicians and leadership
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems, service software, and proposal tools
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Work in both office and field environments, including customer facilities and job sites
  • Travel to customer locations as needed
  • Work extended hours as business needs require
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow plumbing service revenue through service, maintenance, and small project opportunities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned service customers
  • Respond to service leads, technician referrals, and customer requests in a timely manner
  • Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and existing plumbing systems
  • Partner with plumbing service technicians to identify sales opportunities during service calls
  • Accurately scope repair and replacement solutions and prepare professional proposals
  • Follow up on emergency and corrective service work to identify additional opportunities
  • Coordinate with service management, dispatch, and technicians to ensure sold work is executed as scoped
  • Maintain accurate customer, equipment, and proposal documentation in company systems
  • Recommend solutions that improve system reliability, safety, lifecycle cost, and code compliance
