About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Manager / Supervisor to lead and support field plumbing teams across the San Antonio, Austin, and Houston markets. This role is responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, driving performance, and supporting plumbing technicians with on-site job sales using Salesforce. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, customer-facing sales support skills, and a commitment to service excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of plumbing experience (residential and/or commercial).
  • Strong understanding of on-site selling and customer communication.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to manage estimates and job opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Texas plumbing codes and local jurisdiction requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in the field and supporting technicians in live customer situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Plumbing Supervisor, Manager, Lead Plumber, or Field Manager preferred.
  • Texas Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and support plumbing technicians in residential and/or commercial service and installation.
  • Conduct ride-alongs and job site visits to ensure quality, safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
  • Assist technicians with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and complex plumbing issues.
  • Support technicians in real time with pricing, scope clarification, and solution recommendations while on-site.
  • Assist plumbing technicians with on-site job selling, including reviewing estimates, explaining repair or replacement options, and helping close jobs when needed.
  • Ensure all estimates, opportunities, and job details are accurately entered and updated in Salesforce.
  • Coach technicians on best practices for presenting options, value-based selling, and customer communication.
  • Review sales activity, close rates, and pipeline data in Salesforce to identify coaching and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with management to improve sales consistency, pricing accuracy, and revenue performance.
  • Train and mentor technicians on technical skills, customer interactions, and sales processes.
  • Monitor productivity, conversion rates, callbacks, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and corrective action when performance standards are not met.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new plumbing technicians.
  • Handle customer escalations and pricing questions professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure technicians maintain a clean, professional appearance and follow company standards.
  • Review completed jobs for workmanship quality, proper documentation, and billing accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with Texas plumbing codes, local municipal requirements, and safety standards.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through regular meetings and job site audits.
  • Review work orders, estimates, invoices, and timecards for accuracy.
  • Communicate regularly with leadership on team performance, sales trends, and operational needs.
  • Assist with scheduling, dispatch coordination, and workload planning.
