About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman to lead and coordinate plumbing construction activities for commercial and industrial projects across the central Indiana region. This role oversees daily field operations, mentors apprentices and journeymen, ensures quality installations, maintains safety standards, and keeps projects on schedule.

Requirements

High school diploma required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
6+ years commercial/industrial plumbing experience, including 2+ years in a lead role.
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and installation methods.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, and specifications.
Proficiency with domestic water, sanitary/vent, storm, gas, and hydronic systems.
Experience with copper, steel, cast iron, and PEX/CPVC installations.
Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Indiana.
Ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Supervise, schedule, and mentor plumbing crews on assigned projects.
Interpret blueprints, specs, and project requirements to guide installations.
Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and code standards.
Coordinate materials, tools, inspections, and project deadlines.
Attend coordination meetings and work closely with project managers and engineers.
Monitor productivity, resolve field challenges, and support cost control.
Perform inspections, pressure testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems.
