As a Plumbing Apprentice (Plumbing Assistant), you’ll support licensed plumbers in delivering high-quality plumbing service and installations while learning the trade through hands-on experience and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

  • Assist plumbers with installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential plumbing systems
  • Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites and ensure work areas are clean and organized
  • Learn to identify plumbing components, tools, and basic troubleshooting techniques under the guidance of a licensed plumber
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards to maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain a professional appearance and respectful attitude while working in customers’ homes
  • Accurately complete assigned tasks and progressively take on more responsibility as skills develop
  • Participate in training opportunities and work toward required certifications or licensing
