The Plumber is responsible for all aspects of installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of plumbing systems in assigned locations(s). Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–4 years of plumbing experience required.
  • Experience working with mainline plumbing systems, including 4-inch piping and larger.
  • Demonstrated ability to install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial plumbing systems.
  • Experience using plumbing machines and tools for mainline systems, such as augers, snakes, and related equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and plumbing layouts.
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety practices, and compliance standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with patients, staff, and leadership, and to follow safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial plumbing experience preferred, in healthcare, industrial, or large-facility environments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers
  • Anticipates and responds to customer needs.
  • Inspects assigned areas on a routine basis and performs maintenance where necessary to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
  • Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedure.
  • Repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replace or mend broken pipes and open clogged drains.
  • Reports on any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.
  • Operates plumbing machines and equipment to diagnose and clear mainline blockages.
