About The Position
GENERAL OVERVIEW Leads and supervises the daily job duties and assignments o the Engineering Staff Plumbers; supervises the performance of preventive maintenance, corrective, and routine repairs to all plumbing and fire suppression systems and components; supervises the installation and renovation of plumbing and fire suppression systems and components, provides data to the Manager Facilities management in matters of performance reviews/discipline and conduct; conducts training of personnel in their general and specific duties and safety. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises and performs all preventive maintenance to hospital plumbing and fire suppression systems. (25%) Supervises and performs the repairs of all plumbing and fire suppression systems. (25%) Supervises and performs the response to plumbing emergency calls and assists in repairs when needed. (25%) Supervises and performs the renovation and construction and installation of new plumbing and fire suppression systems. Files needed permits with the Allegheny County Health Department. (25%)
Requirements
- Minimum Allegheny Country Plumber's license required.
- Minimum 2 years employment as a registered plumber working with commercial or institutional plumbing systems.
