Can you move from a high-voltage panel to a hydraulic manifold with equal confidence—and document every step in SAP? If so, you’ll thrive at CMC. What you’ll take on Champion safety by following rules, wearing PPE, and engaging in CMC Safety Programs to strengthen our Safety Culture. Partner with ARP Planners to schedule and sequence maintenance activities. Identify and resolve issues using test equipment, hand tools, and systematic troubleshooting to find root causes. Work on AC/DC motor control circuits, PLC systems, electrical drives, and high-voltage equipment within site limits; read and apply electrical/electronic schematics. Perform daily checks and maintenance on shop machinery, mobile equipment, HVAC systems, PLC networks, and cranes. Leverage cross-disciplinary knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, distribution control, fluidic, and electrical systems. Keep precise records of tasks completed, repairs made, and materials used. Execute maintenance work: replace damaged components, make adjustments, calibrate, assemble and install equipment, test systems, and complete preventive maintenance routines. Provide on-the-spot technical support to maintenance and production staff. Maintain clean, organized workspaces as part of daily housekeeping. Use the SAP maintenance module to access information, log activities, and record time and corrective actions. Operate diagnostic tools including digital voltmeters, paper recorders, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic instruments. Are you a match? AC/DC troubleshooting experience is a must. Skilled in maintenance and repair of electrical control systems. Knowledge of melting, casting, and rolling processes and related equipment (preferred). At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience (preferred). Familiar with MRO practices; SAP experience (preferred). Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics; strong grasp of electrical and mechanical maintenance principles. NFPA 70E familiarity (preferred). Experience troubleshooting Siemens or other PLC platforms (preferred). Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities. Deep understanding of electrical safe work practices. Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
