About The Position

Are you the go-to problem solver for tough electrical issues? If AC/DC systems, PLC logic, and motor controls are your toolkit—and heavy industrial environments energize you—this role is your next move. Join a leader in steel production and keep mission-critical equipment online. Base pay is $32/hr , plus strong benefits and incentives. Your impact Diagnose and repair electrical/electronic systems using schematics, test instruments, and PLCs. Install, maintain, and operate electrical equipment to support continuous operations. Pitch in with production teams when operating support is needed. Work solo with minimal supervision or as part of a maintenance crew. Navigate multiple plant areas and conditions (hot, cold, wet, greasy, noisy). Use standard and specialized tools, mobile equipment, pendant and overhead cranes, and forklifts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of industrial/manufacturing experience (military experience counts) or equivalent education in one or more: industrial electronics; motors/controls; electrical power and schematics/print reading; computers and PLCs; electronics; AC/DC theory; power; test instruments/instrumentation; electrical maintenance; commercial construction/installation.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Dependable, punctual, and self-directed.
  • Pass required assessment test(s).
  • Strict adherence to safety procedures; company-provided PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, and metatarsal boots)
