About The Position

We are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Platform Strategist to join our Social Video Services team - Is this your next opportunity? The Platform Strategist is a progression of the Platform Manager role and focuses more on strategic initiatives, making use of every possible lever there is to take advantage of on the platform. The Platform Strategist is a true expert of how to optimize their distribution platform for maximum results. This role continues to run projects on a day-to-day basis alongside their Coordinators, serving as the key day-to-day point of contact for the client.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years working as a Channel Manager on YouTube or exceeds expectations of all the responsibilities of a Channel Manager
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with Google, Microsoft, and Apple productivity applications.
  • Interest and experience with YouTube and other social medias.
  • Experience managing direct reports and communicating with managers.
  • The ability to quickly learn new processes, tools, etc., and communicate learnings to others.
  • The ability to independently lead client conversations & keep clients happy with services.
  • Understands all the intricacies of YouTube Studio
  • Can develop a solid strategy for growth with their client

Responsibilities

  • Create impactful reports with thorough channel analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Confidently lead client meetings as a YouTube expert — anticipate client questions/concerns and be prepared to answer those questions.
  • Provide team with strategic guidance on improving copy for stronger SEO
  • Own deck creation
  • Proactively communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Proactively present strong recommendations to the client on overall channel strategy
  • Help support the coordinator in taking on more, higher-level responsibilities
