To support our rapid growth, the Cloudticity Platform Engineering team is seeking a Platform Engineer with strong AWS and Azure software engineering experience to join our team and help design, build, and evolve our platform. This role blends hands-on development with architectural thinking and is ideal for someone who has worked on small, highly collaborative teams. This role is looking for someone who is innately curious about automation of technology infrastructure and wants to find the next way to manage the public cloud for healthcare.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience
• Expert level Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (The Cloudticity platform is AWS first, but this role requires Azure experience as well)
• 3 years of experience with one or more of the following: Go, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL
• Experience working on small development teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical recommendations

Nice To Haves

• Frontend development experience (Svelte, HTML/CSS, Tailwind CSS)
• Experience with Terraform, CDK, or similar IaC frameworks
• Experience with using LLMs in engineering practices

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native solutions in a serverless public cloud environment
• Contribute hands-on code using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Go
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CDK
• Participate in and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
• Work with major cloud provider services to architect platform solutions
• Collaborate closely with a small development team to design scalable, secure solutions
• Support frontend development as needed, experience using Typescript (Svelte and/or React), HTML/CSS, and other modern frontend technologies is a plus
