Your day in this role You partner with mold department supervisors, maintenance, and fellow technicians to diagnose processing issues and keep production on track. You take a preventive stance on tooling care, coordinate with outside resources to refine tooling-related techniques, and capture best practices in clear process sheets. You launch new tools, fine-tune parameters to sustain cavitation, and document the optimized settings so they can be repeated. You champion continuous improvement by assisting action teams, and you complete all required safety and operator training to maintain a safe, efficient operation. And when business needs shift, you pitch in with overtime or weekend coverage.
