About The Position

Improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through the planning and coordination of labor, parts, material, and equipment access. Preserve or extend the life expectancy of plant equipment, thereby aiding in the total reduction of maintenance cost and increased output of product. Report to the Maintenance Supervisor and acting as a liaison between the Operations and Maintenance Departments. Responsible for the preparation, scheduling and coordination of all planned maintenance work performed within the facility. Also responsible for tracking, pricing, acquiring, organizing, receiving and maintaining critical parts inventories and arrangements. Also responsible for the preservation of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters. Long-term planning and establish goals that guide maintenance activities and help allocate resources strategically. Operate CMMS System for work order management, scheduling and inventory Operate ERP System for parts management, inventory tracking, and financial tracking of M&R assets Assist with purchasing agreements Determine the resources needed and the time required to complete each job Ensure parts are onsite and available for planned maintenance work. Manage workorder backlog to ensure all schedule work is completed or rescheduled Minimize downtime and interruptions to operations by coordinating work with supervisors Maintain and organize warehouses to ensure parts are inventoried Manage parts acquisition which may include traveling to obtaining parts Reduce cost of maintenance while improving service Participates in the planning of shutdowns Assists in scheduling a full day of productive work for all maintenance department employees Analyze and convert work requests to work orders prioritizing the order of completion Retains required records pertaining to equipment Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Technical ability & understanding
  • Strong manufacturing knowledge and understanding of the procurement/supply chain process
  • Understanding & awareness of OSHA Regulations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years related industrial maintenance mechanical field experience preferred.
