About The Position

Plant Relief employees who are relieving on a day-to-day. Plant Relief job involves multiple positions in the Production and Warehouse/Cooler Departments. Duties include Working Foreman, Pasteurizer, C.I.P., Filler Operator, Blow Mold, Shipper, Product Palletizer, Forklift Operator, and Warehouse Receiver. Must follow all safety and sanitary policies and procedures. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in dairy processing, food manufacturing, or a similar environment is a plus.
Ability to operate and maintain production equipment safely.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow food safety guidelines.
Exposure to cold storage, wet environments, and dairy ingredients.
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Follow all associated procedures.
Act as day to day relief for employees in other classification: Pasteurizer C.I.P. Filler Operator Blow Mold Shipper Milk Receiver Product Palletizer Forklift Operator Warehouse Receiver Working Foreman
Follows all Safety Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Maintain compliance and ensure that all materials are handled under manufacturers’ recommendations, and internal food safety requirements, and under regulatory standards that are established by GMP, PMO, OSHA, and FDA.
Accurately prepare & maintain all area paperwork, documents, and downtime records.
Ensure all containers meet quality assurance checks.
Maintain sanitation of equipment including hand cleaning;
Responsible for general housekeeping to ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
Reprocess milk and complete restacking as needed.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
