As the Plant Materials Coordinator you will use your strong problem-solving skills to help our Lancaster, PA plant forecast, coordinate and analyze inventory to support our production. Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Demonstrated experience in materials management or procurement in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to effectively communicate, solve problems and manage complex situations
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent customer service/vendor relations skills
  • Owner mindset
  • Experience with manufacturing scheduling and inventory location systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using SAP
  • Demonstrated Material Replenishment Program experience

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret short- and long-term forecast requirements utilizing the production schedule and using that to determine the optimal amount of materials needed to keep a large facility running.
  • Responsible for contacting the appropriate suppliers, be the liaison for the plant and vendors along with overseeing all material ordering and delivery.
  • Working with cross functional teams to make sure our material inventory is balanced to meet scheduling requirements and audits.
