Position Purpose: The Plant Manager will be responsible for an operations and maintenance contract at a Data Center Energy facility located in central Ohio and will be the primary interface with the project owner. Candidates should have at least ten years of experience and a mechanical background. Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with the client, site staff, management, vendors, and outside agencies. Reports directly to the Regional General Manager. Demonstrate effective management skills in meeting or exceeding facility goals an objectives. Responsible for the enforcement of and compliance with the Operations and Maintenance Agreement. Responsible for the enforcement of and compliance with permits and all regulatory requirements. Responsible to generate annual budgets and ensure site operates within acceptable variances. Ensure compliance and enforce safety policies and procedures and serves as a role model in safe work practices Prepare and submit to the client, in a timely manner, all reports and information required under the terms of the O&M contract. Provide recommendations to management and the client on plant upgrades and enhancements that would improve the reliability, efficiency, performance, safety, or environmental readiness of the plant. The recommendations should include a cost benefit analysis. Oversee the planning and implementation of maintenance and outage activities. Provide outage reports to management and client summarizing significant events of the outage.
