Explore our career opportunities below to learn more. We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations in Savannah, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant production of high-quality dental and medical devices. The role will drive a culture of operational excellence that will positively impact safety, quality and service improvements while reducing cost through various CI techniques including Lean. As a strategic location for manufacturing investment the role will drive site growth initiatives and investment strategy execution.

Requirements

12+ years of experience in regulated manufacturing, supply chain operations.
Able to manage relationships across a matrix reporting structure
Proven leadership and management skills in a high growth and dynamic environment
Proven ability to lead and drive change in a dynamic business environment
Budgeting and forecasting experience required
Analytical skills for data review and process optimization
Excellent management and leadership skills and ability to attract, retain, motivate, develop and mentor team members for high performance
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively
Outstanding presentation and public speaking skills
Outstanding independent decision making, analysis and problem solving skills
Understand, interpret and act on financial information that contributes to business profitability
Ability to plan and manage complex and successful projects; understand available resources, develop timeline, budget and assign areas of responsibility
Lead teams to achieve company goals and solve complex business issues in creative and effective ways
Outstanding planning and organizational skills and techniques

Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the strategic growth of the manufacturing facility, working in partnership with business partners and Henry Schein Manufacturing global organization to support business growth and supply chain excellence.
Responsible for planning strategic investment at the site to enable growth and future manufacturing initiatives. Presenting business cases to drive investment.
Site oversight for Production and Operations Management: Direct site leadership and teams on production output, product quality, and on-time shipping in a metric driven operation
Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and other relevant industry standards.
Design resource allocation effectively to achieve production goals.
Build the organizational capabilities and the talent to support business requirements, both for today’s needs and forward looking forward to future projected growth
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Develop and manage the plant's budget, including labor, materials, and operational expenses.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
Prepare and present financial and operational reports for leadership.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet or exceed regulatory and customer requirements.
Lead and participate in regulatory audits and inspections.
