We also offer CAREER GROWTH and much more! Summary: This facility is part of our Prepared Foods business unit and manufactures dry sausage. Looking for a leader to fill the Plant Manager role for this well-established facility through significant changes to the overall business.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: At least four years of plant management experience required.
  • Direction of plant operations and supply chain knowledge helpful.
  • Computer Skills: Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written skills.
  • Supervisory: Yes.
  • Travel: 3 - 6 trips per year domestic and possible international trips.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean experience is preferred.
  • Capital project management experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Safety Be a safety leader at the plant, establishing and directing plant policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations. Establish and foster a team environment, promoting a positive culture.
  • Operations & Production Management Direct and coordinate all plant operations and maintenance, adhering to company policies and procedures. Oversee and achieve plant production goals. Establish production schedules across all shifts to meet demand.
  • Quality & Customer Relations Ensure product quality standards are met and maintained. Work directly with customers and suppliers to meet expectations and support operational needs.
  • Staffing & Development Select, train, and manage plant supervisory and operations staff. Conduct employee performance reviews and support career development. Schedule and lead regular plant meetings to support communication and planning.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination Collaborate with department heads to coordinate safety, purchasing, production, quality, HR, accounting, and shipping.
  • Community & Corporate Engagement Establish and maintain positive relationships within the community. Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.
  • Other Duties Perform other duties as assigned.
