About The Position

As a Plant Health Care Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, and treating tree and shrub health issues within a specific territory. A typical day may include inspecting plant material, identifying pests, diseases, or other concerns, selecting and applying appropriate treatments, preparing written diagnostic reports, educating clients, and operating spray and application equipment safely and effectively. This role requires working independently to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working outdoors, and protecting the natural environment.

Requirements

• The ability to work independently with responsibility and care
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to engage with clients effectively
• Willingness to learn plant/tree identification and safe equipment use
• Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licenses
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• A valid driver’s license with the ability to operate service-line vehicles

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass—or related experience
