Plant & Engineering Manager - Full Time - Days
About The Position
The Plant & Engineering Manager supports the Plant & Engineering Director in the daily operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of all hospital facilities, infrastructure, and utility systems. This position provides direct oversight of plant operations staff, ensures reliable performance of critical building systems, and assists in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulatory standards. The Manager serves as the department's operational leader in the Director's absence and plays a key role in maintaining a safe, functional, and compliant environment that supports patient care.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred. Technical/trade training with relevant experience may be considered
- Relevant trade license (HVAC, electrical, boiler) as required.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred.
- Healthcare Construction Certificate (HCC) preferred.
