As a Plant Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing off-shift activities, ensuring employees remain productive, safe, and engaged. They lead plant operations during evenings, weekends, and holidays, acting as the primary contact for any environmental, health, and safety emergencies. Responsibilities include overseeing emergency maintenance, driving process improvements, and supporting growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment, making timely decisions with limited data.
  • Strong analytical skills and a focus on achieving results amidst complex demands.
  • Constructive problem-solving to propose new solutions for business performance improvements.
  • Team player comfortable in a matrix organization with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full-time role with flexibility for off shifts, rotating shifts, and potential overtime.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 3 years in manufacturing and team leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key contact during any environmental, health, and safety emergencies, serving as the Incident Commander.
  • Provide first responder services based on training and coordinate necessary notifications internally or externally.
  • Manage and allocate resources for emergency maintenance activities within the facility.
  • Lead efficient plant operations by maintaining oversight, recognizing operational trends, and facilitating resolutions.
  • Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities across manufacturing processes.
  • Support management with training, capital projects, and initiatives to enhance plant efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Operations, EHS, and Engineering teams to align with business goals.
