About The Position

Planning Logistics Manager Description - Job Summary This role is responsible to build and implement a Plan for Logistics strategy. This role will be responsible to work cross-functionally to build forecasting tools from manufacturing and planning data to drive improvements and accuracy in DC inventory capacity modeling, inbound and outbound transportation capacity planning and air/ocean mode of transportation compliance. This role will also lead Total Customer Experience (TCE) process management for the North America market. This includes working across functions to causal, implement corrective and/or containment actions and drive process and performance improvements. This role will also support in-market Logistics projects, spanning implementations and onboardings, cost savings initiatives and other strategic projects. This role is expected to have 6 direct reports located between the Spring, TX, and Guadalajara, MX, office locations.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and evaluate accuracy of forecasting tools for DC inventory capacity and transportation capacity planning.
  • Work across Market Leads and global Supply Chain functions to scale solutions towards a global standard.
  • Champion a shift from reactive to proactive Logistics capacity management.
  • Drive cost efficiencies by bringing data into DC labor planning strategies and inbound and outbound transportation utilization improvements.
  • Manage and drive improvements in TCE program for North America, driving improvements in governance, cost visibility and operational enhancements.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, defining goals, timelines, and resource allocation for various initiatives, leveraging HP PMO standards to drive governance and effectively prioritize.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement strategies to improve efficiency, accuracy, cost-effectiveness and resiliency.
  • Support Logistics reporting requirements in alignment in overarching data strategies and standards.
  • Identify and drive implementation for automation opportunities in team processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team spanning U.S. and Mexico sites.
